Why Are You On This Planet?

Hallo darlings! I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend like I did full of productivity, meditations, enthusiasm, happiness, relaxation and refocus towards the very bright future ahead. Its spring in Sweden and there is nothing I love more than looking at the trees that have weathered the snow, rain and freezing cold. It’s just so amazing to see the green, purple, yellow and red coming back to life once again. I find it so majestic and inspiring.

I know last time I wrote about having specific plans for your life to give you a sense of direction if you really want to see God in action and yourself manifesting beyond imagination, as He has promised in Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is work within us”. No plans, no presentation in prayer and faith in action before the Lord, you are your own enemy. It’s as simple as it gets folks and I’ll continue from there…assuming that you have your thoughts organized.

When you put your thoughts in writing, you give it power and it becomes your road map. It keeps you grounded. Today, we have so many people that like to verbally express ideas but that’s all they get to do…which is quite unfortunate. That’s why you see people in a lot of self-destructive behaviors such as addiction, indulging in abusive or toxic relationships, being used, depressed, constantly the one with the latest gossip, the one that will tell you everything happening in the show business and all the other irrelevant nonsense! LIKE, WHERE DO YOU GET ALL THE TIME AND HEADSPACE???  If you know exactly where you are going and why you are going there, you will not settle for anything that doesn’t add up to your life goals and action plan. You will get in to a place where from the bottom of your heart, you are truly unbothered and all that matters is slaying your goals without any handouts because you cling on the King and you walk by faith not by sight.

There are two types of people, the doers and what I like to call, the rest. The rest are those that talk a lot but revolve in the same circle. When you have a plan and you are willing to go through the “blood, sweat and tears”, it becomes a vision on a mission. This is a very boring (sometimes) and lonely road to walk on because elevation consistently and constantly requires your separation and you’ll often need to be alone so that God can direct your steps but it is worth every bit. As a border line lover of solitude, I’ll tell you this: I’d rather walk, crawl, limb and stagger alone but in the right direction than be surrounded by a bunch of people going fast but heading nowhere. Dead ends don’t seat very well with me and by the way once you get to truly love being on your own, focusing on God and your goals, you will become fearless and nobody will play around with your head because the closer you get with God, the more you understand your value and the sophisticated great plans He has for you. No gossip, nobody, shady deals or whatever will affect or infect you in anyway. Try and see. You will find this nice inner peace to the extent that you will have a hard time trading it for anything that makes you lower your standards. Compromise, settling and mediocrity for example and to give you a hint, is not part and parcel of God’s plans. You see what I mean?

So, if you don’t have a plan, a plan that glorifies God and is aligned with the purpose He has for you, you will be confused, disoriented, misguided and frustrated. Progress MUST have an action plan. Your ideas must be put down if they are to influence your lifestyle and make us remember you. This is also how discipline is inhabited. There are people that plan a drinking spree, travel, shopping, and their meal plan a week beforehand but when it comes to their future they have no clue. Set your course and present it to your creator. Imagine into your future as far as you can, write it down, walk, talk and act like your plan. Slash down anything that doesn’t nourish that plan.

What are you going to do for the next five months? Five years? What do you want to accomplish? Where are you going? Who do you want to influence? Pray about it and put this plan in a convenient environment so you can track your progress to see how close you are and how far you have come. Ask God to align you with the right people to propel you to these plans too. I promise you, you will be astonished how your behavior and life choices will change. You will start to see God in action and get more motivated and faith becoming stronger. How you are going to meet these goals, as I told you in the previous post, is absolutely none of your business and that’s why you should educate yourself about what God had in mind when He brought you here. To quote him again He says “Many are the plans in a man’s heart (which He put there and you can’t discover them when you are distracted) BUT the Lord directs His steps”.  When you have a clear vision, the Mighty one steps in and throws in the PRO-vision (i.e provision). Note that there is a very big difference between God’s plans in your heart and the idols of your heart so my assignment to you, is to go and find out the difference, so you don’t just jump on every opportunity knocking on your door. The devil is very clever too don’t forget that.

You were not created for a nine to five boring job, to please people, mediocrity, confusion, dead ends or whatever. God put you here for a unique reason and He “fearfully and wonderfully” did that as seen on Psalms. He designed a unique plan for each one of us see Jeremiah 29:11. You were created in God’s image, you identically share His potential to be and do much more than you expect. Take a very good look around and see all the amazing inventions. All these were thoughts placed on a man’s mind by God. A mere invisible idea potted to sight! So challenge yourself, dare to dream, take it to the SIR in prayer. Give yourself something to be motivated about and as you dream, think, imagine and plan who you want to be, you will begin to see why God created you and the work He has designed you to do. Your destination overall is supposed to reveal God’s glory which is His nature. When you meet an obstacle while at it, remember my favorite guy Jesus said this “His yoke is heavy but His burden is light” so also assess the challenges you are going through right now. If they are embarrassing, emotionally draining, hurting, confusing, time consuming etc that is not a light burden but a call to action don’t get it twisted even for a second. I also hate to be the one to say this but I am a straight shooter and I’ll say it anyway. In social media today there is a lot of knowledge and wisdom floating around advising people about love, business, finances, friendships, the mind and bla bla bla but let me break it down for you analogically and follow this with an open mind.

When you buy a piece of furniture let’s say at IKEA, you get an instruction book that comes with it. For you to put up this furniture and use it for storage, you have to go through this manual. Failure to do so, you will put up a piece together, take it down again, do the same UNTIL you pay keen attention to the instructions given. By the same token, I no longer see how a quote by Socrates is going to fix my life or some random Instagram instruction by Buddha when I was created by God and not Socrates or an instagrammer. With this piece of furniture I just mentioned, no other user manual can put it up together apart from IKEAS user manual. What do I mean, if there is any knowledge you should pursue, it’s that of the person that created you. You are the piece of furniture, IKEA was an example of your creator and your user manual is your Bible. Find out why you are here and get a grip or put the piece of furniture, take it down again, put it up again until it hits you and I can assure you Socrates won’t fix you. As a matter of fact it’s written like this in Colossians 2:8 “See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ”. So you decide, Socrates or alignment with God’s plans for your life? Totally up to you.

More interestingly, I understand we are living at a very tricky time and error where ladies with sponsors are buying palaces, fraudsters own sky scrapers, scammers are getting great business deals etc. but I shared this on my Instagram recently and I don’t remember where I heard this but it was a good one. This person said, when you put Orange juice in replacement of Premium fuel in a Ferrari, the car will start and it will move but not to a much further distance. So just follow the right track and don’t get distracted by what you see going on around you or on social media. Like I mentioned earlier, it is better to go slow or alone but on the right track than fast but heading nowhere. “He who is last will become fast” yes? So stick with it!

You know what, my “Githeri”(boiled maize and beans) is now cold, I need to microwave it and make some tea. Let’s meet here again on my next post. My explanations cannot be brief because I want my thoughts to be very clear so you get it straight. Otherwise I wish you “peace that surpasses all human understanding” and please do yourself a favor and stay ruthlessly focused. Tune down the noise and get in alignment.

I was the designated photographer of the day so you can have a look at Graces outfit and rate my photography skills 🙂

Lots of love

Faith Rogers.
